Inter House Volleyball Competition 2023 – 24
An Inter House Volleyball Competition was held on Friday, 28 April 2023 in GRD WORLD SCHOOL, Bhauwala, Dehradun. The chief guest for the event were the chair person from the management and the principal of the school Mr. Deepak Saraswat. The competition was open for the students of class 7th to 12th. Four teams from Ajeet(RED), Zorawar (BLUE), Jujhar(GREEN) and Fateh(YELLOW) Houses played matches on a knock-out basis. The competition was enthusiastically started with the opening match between Jujhar and Zorawar House. By taking the lead in the match in the the beginning set Jujhar House finally won the match by 15 – 05, 15 -17 and 11- 06.
The second match of the competition was played between Fateh and Ajeet House. With their skills and great teamwork, Ajeet House won the match by 15-06 and 15-13.
The competition witnessed intense matches, great efforts and playing spirit among the players of the different houses, with Ajeet House and Jujhar House reaching the Finals.
In the finals, it was Ajeet House which won the match by 25 -09 and 25 -18 and marked it’s victory, after showcasing their excellent teamwork, coordination and playing skills.
We are proud of all the teams that participated and demonstrated great sportsmanship throughout the competition. We shall continue practising and improving to build our school team more perfect and skilled.
The Event was a great success as passion for volleyball could be seen in the participants as well as the crowd.
