GRD WORLD SCHOOL, Bhauwala, Dehradun celebrated its Annual Day on Saturday, 27 May 2023. The function includes many cultural programmes. It was started with Saraswati Vandana and then students presented a welcome song for the guests of the function. After
that there were many events like solo and group dance, song and play.
Every student got a chance to participate. So there were dance performances by kindergarten section and senior students as well. Students performed on Garhwali, Punjabi and western songs. The boarding students prepared Lazy dance and also they presented a historic tale, Mahabharata with the
help of dance. Students sang songs and played the instruments and make the event full of enjoyment for the guests, parents and everyone whoever was the part of the event.
There were play and drama on impact of social media and law of karma, with moral teaching for the
audience. On the same day the school also awarded the academic achievers of the session
2022-23 along with the board exam toppers. This way the programme was just not enjoyable but also memorable for the students and parents.
The chief guest of the function was Sardar Raja Singh, Chairman of GRD group and other guests were the members of the management and Mr. Dinesh Singh Negi, Principal of Govt. School Telpura and Mr. Deepak Joshi, Pradhan, Bhagwanpur Julo Bhauwala. After the programmes there was a speech by the Chairman of the school, in which first of all he appreciated the school for organising the grand Annual function and also motivated students, parents and everyone present in the event
by sharing his experience and inspired them their future.
